Deco Den UK?

Deco den anyone? if you have read some of my recent post you would have seen my deco den camera that i did and its got me thinking were can you buy deco den decorations and items in the UK?  Apart from bits and bobs of eBay there are only two sites i know glamkira and craftjam. Glamkira is a good site its were i got most of my bits for my camera and they also do pre made cases for phones, craft jam is also good they do other bits and bobs for jewellery etc.
when it comes to buying pre made phone cases yet again there is eBay, amazon, etsy and a recent one i stumbled upon Lucyboots
you can always go over the pond but i find shipping is expensive and you have to wait a while.
dose anyone know of any other good deco den sites in the UK?

                                                                     the camera again :)

So this week was my week off and I have done nothing just chilling out, seeing to my animals and the neighbour’s cat Doris, it’s nice to have a week off and bum around I’m not much of a go away on holiday type of gall well abroad anyway, although I am tempted to go away with the boyfriend to one of those camping pods Zoella went away to one they look amazing and defiantly my style of camping!
Is anyone going away this year?

The Hair Straightener

First commercialised in the 1990’s hair straighteners are now one of the most commonly used hair styling tool.
The desire for straight hair goes back centuries in the 1870 such devices we invented to achieve the straight hair style, like metal straightening combs. It was not until the 1960 when woman started using clothes irons to straighten the hair that was when the revelation started.
The modern hair straightener has come a long way since then and so has it purpose not only is it possible to straighten the hair but now certain techniques and modifications have made it possible to crimp and curl the hair.

But witch brand to invest in? There are so many straighteners to choose from now, I have done my research and decided GHD and cloud nine are the best hair straighteners on the market to buy. I already have GHD’S and they are very good but i am tempted to buy the cloud nine straighteners I have read allot of good reviews about them, is it time to move away from the GHD?

Are you being served?

So here’s a subject that’s been bugging me recently customers service, Does it bother you or do you expect it?

It seems a lot of shops are pushing this lately for instance I shop in countrywide quite often and I have never been asked if I was ok or if I needed help ect... till the other week and you know what I felt uncomfortable when I was asked if I needed help by two separate sales assistances, I also felt being watched and did not feel like browsing I just got what I needed paid for it and then left.

It’s got me thinking most shops I shop in like new look, hmv, h&m, primark, boots and topshop never ask me if I need help ect... and it does not bother me I like to walk around the store browsing picking things up trying them on because I don’t feel pressured into buying anything and if I needed help I would find a sale assistant and ask for their help.

But on the other hand I sort of expect it in some shops like a jewellers, the products you want to buy are behind their glass cabinet and the assistant can tell you what metal it is what stone it is, the style period ect ... so you would expect them to offer assistance to you.

It can all get quite confusing we all know retail is struggling at the moment and shops are trying to make as much money as they possibly can, but are they scaring customers off too?

I think the generation now aren’t so bothered if we want something we will ask for it. I also think online shopping plays a role too we are use to buying thing online and getting no help at all because it is all on a computer screen.

Should shops be pushing sales down people’s throats or should they lower their prices? I think primark is a good example for that.

So my question does it bother you or do you expect it?
